It looks as though life is going to get busier, as I was voted in as the new chairperson of the Yorkshire branch of the National Association of DJs last night, and I am looking forward to arranging some new features for the meetings, and taking the branch forward.
I am again pleased to have been asked to get involved with this years concert. Playing music for the kids at the start, then filling in between the bands and running the auction. It was a good one last year so I hop we get an even bigger crowd this time.
Text this morning from Debbie, the birthday girl last night. Its always nice when someone remembers to take the time to send a message of thank. This one simply said:

A text I received today:
‘Hi Gary just wanted to say a massive thank you for Saturday night! You were absolutely fab!!! Everyone had a brilliant night and I understand my friend has booked you for her 40th!!! Cath.’
And I am pleased to say I did get the booking from her friend.
I played for the staff of the Rose & Crown and The Scapehouse last night. Great night had by all. I was pleased to see this on Twitter this morning:

Only a couple of days to go to this years festival, and one of my busiest weekends of the year. The event covers Saturday and Sunday, with stalls and events all around the town centre. I will be in the market hall as usual, introducing and assisting all the presenters and features on stage. We have a brand new kitchen stage set up,and I will be installing the sound system. See you there!

Excellent night last night at The Holmfirth Picturedrome for Suzi’s 50th. Lovely crowd. Dance floor full right to the end. Fish and chips for everybody delivered by a local chippy. Excellent live band. And only 500yds to walk home!
